Do You Really Think the GOP Cares?

I keep getting requests to sign petitions asking Congress to not do this or not vote for that. Folks, this is useless stuff! Have you ever written, called, or emailed your Congressman and requested anything? If so, did he listen? No? Ha, what a surprise. 

 You see, what we have in Washington right now is a cluster of self-important, selfish, self-serving, greedy scumbags who are running the show. 

 Start with the President. Look at what he has done. In his cabinet, he has placed multi-millionaires and billionaires who will control and make decisions. These cabinet appointees are so far out of touch with the average American and his needs that no decision made will be for his benefit. 

 Then go to the Speaker of the House. Paul Ryan. Scumbag. Rotten Bastard! He has no feeling for the American people. He is a greed-driven Politician who will stop at nothing to make sure the American people have nothing. Healthcare? He doesn't want people to have it. Not at the expense of HIS government. It used to be our Government, but not any more. 

 Take a look at the rest of Congress. A cluster of Republicans who want what is best for the PARTY, and the WEALTHY, and their OWN POCKETS. Do you know that many of them won't cross over the aisle simply because they know the GOP won't fund them when they run again? Does that sound like a Government OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AND FOR THE PEOPLE? Not to me, it doesn't.

 So I think we are going about this all wrong. Instead of signing petitions, and calling on Congress to NOT do something, why not just agree with their tactics and then push for fairness?

 In other words...no healthcare for the people...no healthcare for Congress. Let's band together and force them to lose their cushy, expensive healthcare coverage that you, as a taxpayer, pay for.

 See, I don't think people look at it in this light. They don't want you to have healthcare, but yet, if you pay taxes, you are paying for their healthcare. Think about that. 

 DEMAND THAT YOUR CONGRESSMAN GIVE UP HIS HEALTHCARE COVERAGE!!!! DO IT TODAY!!!

 AND THAT'S WHAT I THINK...........

Government Shutdown

This seems to be the talk at every gathering, every dinner table, and everywhere else these days. In my opinion, it's despicable, not to mention unprofessional and childish. Shutting down the government because a group doesn't like a program is just like taking your ball and going home because you don't  like the rules. And if non-essential workers are furloughed, why is Congress still there? Oh....that's right. It's non-essential workers---not non-productive workers. Now here are some of the departments and agencies that are considered NON-ESSENTIAL: CDC--Center for Disease Control . Nope. I guess that's not important. They only identify diseases and their sources, which could stop an epidemic. It's too bad they can't stop the epidemic of Congressional Stupidity. What is Happening?

What happened to America? Where did the United States go?  Tearing families apart, throwing crying, screaming children into cage-like facilities?  MY GOD, PEOPLE! WHY ARE WE LETTING THIS HAPPEN? ICE and now the Border Patrol behaving like the Nazi enforcers in Hitler's Germany! SO WRONG! Joe Kennedy III said it correctly: HUMANITY has nothing to do with a green card, a visa, or citizenship.  It has to do with the treatment of people.  AND THERE IS NO HUMANITY IN THIS BEHAVIOR!!  OH. MY. GOD!! Children screaming and crying as they are being yanked away from their parents is HORRIFIC!!!
